Mohammed Bentaallah was born and educated in Algeria and supported our team from an operational and administrative viewpoint. He brings experience in project management, IoT, web development, communications, entrepreneurship (renewable energy) and stakeholder engagement. He is co-founder of the Algerian Energy Transition Dialogue and participated as communication and sponsorship manager with a team of 40 students from across Africa in the first African Solar Decathlon (2019), where they built the Jua Jamii House, which is 100% powered by solar energy. Mohammed holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Thermal Engineering and Renewable Energies) and a master’s in Energy Policy. He has worked in Algeria, Morocco, and Italy. In addition to his native Arabic, Mohammed is fluent in English and French.
