Mai Aye

Mai Aye Aye Aung is a MM-based advisor specialising in higher education, gender, and peace studies. She is the Dean of the Liberal Arts Programme at the Myanmar Institute of Theology (MIT) and a United Board Fellow at the United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia, supporting leadership development for mid-career faculty and administrators in Asian universities.
Mai has conducted research on women, peace, and security, with her publication "Strengthening Feminist Leadership for Effective and Sustainable Peacebuilding in Myanmar" (2017). She is committed to advancing gender equality and peacebuilding through education and research.
She holds an MA in Peace Studies from MIT (MM) and an MBA from Assumption University (TH).
