Lina is a Colombian national with a decade of experience in communication and development. She has worked on development projects in Algeria, Ethiopia, Nigeria and Kenya focusing on higher education developing and operationalising communication and branding strategies for organisations such as the African Union, the Pan African University and the Institute for Water, Renewable Energy and Climate Change. Before joining Paeradigms, she worked for the German development agency GIZ in Africa, focusing on capacity development of African Union staff (communications). Before moving into international cooperation, she worked for several creative agencies focusing on cross-media advertising campaigns in Latin America. Lina holds a master’s degree in communication and economics from the Università della Svizzera italiana (Switzerland) and bachelor’s degree in media art from the Universidad de los Andes (Colombia).
