Dr Kennedy Kibukho

Dr Kennedy Kibukho is a project management, education and monitoring and evaluation specialist with over 19 years of practical experience in project design, planning and management as well as monitoring, evaluation, research and learning. Kennedy has Ph.D. in Project Planning and Management - Monitoring and Evaluation Specialisation (2015) and M.A. in Project Planning and Management (2010), both from the University of Nairobi, and a Bachelor of Education from Kenyatta University (2002). He has extensive experience coordinating monitoring, evaluation, learning and research activities across several disciplines including education, health, energy, water and sanitation, evaluation research, action-research, sustainable development, transparency and accountability in different organisations. He previously coordinated monitoring, evaluation, accountability, research and learning activities at World Vision International (2002-2012), RTI International (2012-2019), Partnership for African Social and Governance Research (2019-2020), Tetra Tech International Development (2020-2022) and SNV Netherlands Development Organisation (2022). Kennedy was part of Pedagogical Leadership in Africa (PedaL); one of the nine partnerships under the Strategic Partnerships for Higher Education Innovation and Reform (SPHIER), funded by FCDO and managed by the British Council and PwC. The project, hailed as a game changer was credited for pacifying the adverse effect of Covid-19 pandemic on higher education institutions by building the capacity of lecturers in online course design, facilitation and assessment as well as on innovative pedagogy. His passion is building program excellence and effectiveness in sustainable development programming through monitoring, evaluation, research, reflection, learning and documentation of best practices.
