Hiwot

Hiwot Negede is an Ethiopian project management and event coordination specialist with over 10 years of experience in international development, communications, and stakeholder engagement. Based in Addis Ababa, she has worked with intergovernmental agencies, including the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the African Union Commission, as well as consultancy projects involving the UN, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, GIZ, GE, and IBM.
Her expertise includes project planning and implementation, stakeholder coordination, recruitment, and communications. She has successfully managed large-scale events and development initiatives, ensuring smooth execution and effective collaboration across sectors.
Hiwot holds a bachelor's degree in Administrative Management and Technology Systems from Addis Ababa University and a diploma in Business Management from Université de Poitiers. She is fluent in Amharic, English, and French.
