Vivian Ogechi Nwadiaru is a Nigerian energy engineer with expertise in renewable energy, climate change, and STEM education. She is a graduate of the Pan African University Institute of Water and Energy Sciences (including Climate Change) and has worked in development projects with the African Union Commission and the German Development Cooperation (GIZ), focusing on energy, climate policy, and gender mainstreaming.
In 2020, she completed a Research Fellowship on International Climate Protection at the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation in Berlin before beginning her PhD in renewable energy at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She has published extensively on energy and sustainability.
Vivian is also the founder of STEMJets, an NGO dedicated to bridging the skills gap for STEM students in Nigeria. Her work integrates policy, education, and research to promote sustainable energy solutions and capacity-building in Africa and beyond
